One- to five-day learning sailing expeditions on program vessels- Field trips and community-based learning experiences, from local navy bases, marine museums, local ship builders and more
- Contact and coordination with guest speakers who link classroom subjects to the real world
- Theme-based educational unit development that fosters increased interest and connection in student learning
- Multi-unit, themed courses, ranging from quarter-length, semester-length and year-long
- Consultation and/or development and implementation of school-to-work-based programs in which students earn credit and wages
- Transitional programs for middle school to high school
- Development of university-based courses
