Whidbey Island Kayaking Company.

For the general public, SEA offers Puget Sound Eco-Voyages aboard the 65-foot vessel Indigo. Participants enjoy a remarkable weekend exploring Puget Sound and the Salish Sea aboard the Indigo. Puget Sound Eco-Voyages offer relaxation, adventure, on-the-water learning, and meaningful service that benefits Puget Sound/Salish Sea.
Eco-voyage participants enjoy hiking, bird-watching, campfires, kayaking...all while enjoying great conversation, fantastic scenic views and tasty organic meals prepared from fresh, local ingredients.

| First day morning | Depart from Anacortes Friday afternoon aboard the Indigo. |
| First day afternoon | Arrive at Griffin Bay on San Juan Island. Guests who choose to kayak will enjoy a two-hour paddle along the shores of Griffin Bay en route to Friday Harbor. Non-paddlers may explore the shorelines of Griffin Bay or Turn Island or relax onboard. Enjoy free time in Friday Harbor before heading back to Indigo for dinner. |
| First day evening | After dinner, guests may choose to sleep aboard Indigo in Friday Harbor, camp for the night on nearby Turn Island, or even book a luxurious night's lodging in Friday Harbor itself. |
| Second day morning | Enjoy a hearty breakfast aboard Indigo as we cruise to scenic Sucia Island. On our trip to Sucia, you can engage in optional learning rotations aboard the Indigo, including marine science/water quality testing, art and reflection with Susie, and learning about navigation/operation of Indigo with Captain Burt. |
| Second day afternoon | Arrive at Sucia Island. After lunch aboard Indigo, kayakers will enjoy a two-hour paddle along the island's gorgeous shorelines. Non-paddlers will have free time to explore the island's trails and beaches. Those wishing to relax may simply recline on the spacious decks of Indigo. |
| Second day evening | Enjoy a wonderful dinner followed by an interesting discussion with fellow guests and crew members. Spend the evening listening to the waves, stargazing, and reflecting on your experience. Guests may sleep aboard Indigo or camp on Sucia Island. |
| Third day morning | Kayakers will head out for an early morning paddle before a leisurely breakfast. We'll pack up in mid morning for our return to Anacortes in early afternoon. |

2011 Eco-Voyage Schedule
All trips travel Anacortes-San Juan/Friday Harbor-Sucia Island, and are currently scheduled for these dates in 2011:
June 20 - 22 (Monday morning through Wednesday afternoon)
July 18-20 (Monday morning through Wednesday afternoon)
August 8-10 (Monday morning through Wednesday afternoon)
September 9-11 (Friday morning through Sunday afternoon)
The program fee includes:
- Travel aboard the vessel Indigo.
- Meals (first day lunch and dinner; second day day breakfast, lunch and dinner; third day breakfast and lunch. Tasty meals are prepared for you with organic, locally grown ingredients and fine local wine, beer and juices.
- Two nights of lodging either aboard the vessel Indigo (bunks in shared quarters) or in a campsite in a San Juan Island State Park or Sucia Island State Park. SEA will provide camping gear and cover campsite fees.
- Program coordination by SEA Co-Executive Directors Susie Richards, MEd and Captain Chris Burt, MEd.
- Kayak Guide Nick Horton, Whidbey Island Kayaking Company guide, who brings strong experience and a background in kayaking and provides personalized instruction and support for all kayaking programs.
- Clock hours or credit are available for educators!
Launch Location: All Puget Sound Eco-Voyages depart from Anacortes, Washington, a 90-minute drive from Seattle.
Program Fees:
Individual: $500 without kayaking or $600 with kayaking
Couple: $925
Families: $450 per person for families of 3, $425 per person for families of 4, $400 per person for families of 5+

Registration and Fee: $150 per person deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Trips cancelled by SEA due to insufficient enrollment will be fully refunded.
